When I was a child, I liked to write and I liked video games. It wasn't until I saw my first issue of Nintendo Power that I realized these two interests could be made into one cohesive career choice. It took me a very long time, but here I am, and here you are reading about it. I was born in Maine, I live in Maine now. The only time I didn't live in Maine was the 4.5 years I was in the USAF and the 2 years after I got out, while my wife finished up her enlistment. I don't know why we came back to Maine, but here we are! I like retro games quite a lot, and have acquired several CRT TVs on which to play old consoles. I also collect and restore vintage computers from the 1980s and 90s. My favorite one right now is a Kaypro 2, a "luggable" computer from 1984. It's my favorite because it's also the only computer in my collection that works. The others are works-in-progress.
